I hope everyone’s having a great week. Last week my husband and I returned home from a three week vacation in the UK. We’ve planned and prepared ourselves for this trip for so long and it went even better than we expected. That’s one of the main reason’s the blog went quiet for a moment. But it’s SUMMER now in Michigan and time to use this precious season wisely!
I’m sharing a recent day trip we took just before our UK trip. We used the PERFECT weather experienced in April (the weekend when the temperatures soared to early June temps) to grab some adventurous friends and make it up north. We intended to start out in Traverse City and end up at Pyramid Point. We accomplished a lot during this one day and I feel, we spent quality time in each spot. … More “Up North” in a Day
I’m getting so excited for National Parks week towards the end of April! Mark your calendar’s folks! This year the National Parks Service is giving us free admission to ALL national parks in the country on April 15-16 and 22-23 and this year, like last year, Tony and I are planning a day trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. This time we’re planning on taking a few of our friends who are interested in adding more adventure into their weekend plans.
